This is still my favorite television show currently on the air, though the writers strike killed any chances for a day 7 anytime soon.

What do people think of the show? Can it come back after a sub-par sixth season? Who were some of the best villains to go up against Jack? Who was your favorite character to get killed off and why?

Tick tock.

well, my biggist problem with the show, is the fact you have to watch every episode. if you're say on holiday for a few weeks, you start to miss the plot, and there for it spoils the series.

on the other hand, it is a grate plot. loved the idea of the plain crash right from the start. long may it live

If you have to be away and can't watch the episodes as they air, that's what torrents are for. *Grin*

I heard that there won't be a day seven untill the guy who plays jack gets out of jail.

Personally, I have to say that I liked season four. I didn't see two and came in at the last 6 hours of season three. I have season one on dvd and hope to eventually have them all some day.

I don't know why I liked season four, I just did.

Probably due to scheduling and the fact that if they started it now, it would be ending during the summer when nobody is watching TV.

Let's hope they use the opportunity to take stock and come up with a decent story next time.

Any news on the 24 Film though?

They're thinking of a 24 movie? I didn't know that! I don't see how that would work, given the basis of the series is the 24 one-hour episodes.

a 24 movie? Interesting! that would be a little hard and how much of it would have to be cut? the funny thing is is that on the season 1 box set I have I can get through one episode in 45 minutes. so 15 minutes of the hour on tv is comercials.

Well I've looked again for information about a film but it seems I was mistaken.

By the way Ashley, the thing you mentioned about each episode containing 15 minutes of commercials is normal for all your (US) TV shows; they all run for about 42 minutes without commercials.

Does anybody watch a series of 24 more than once? I have never done this, mainly because the suspsnse just isn't there the second time.
